Description: “Jeune homme apportant une écuelle à un vieillard, Isaac et Jacob" (Young Man Bringing a Bowl to an Old Man, Isaac and Jacob) is a rare impression printed in "blanc crème" over a black background. Picasso expert Brigitte Baer records that no known impression is printed without the first state of Madoura (Baer 1270). As this impression is printed on its own, an impression of this subject in its definitive form must have been made and not seen by Baer. Stamped in ink verso, "Imprimerie Arnéra Archives / Non Signé." Exceptionally rare in this form.
Reference: Baer 1271 only state A (of C)
