From Dalí's personal sketchbook, this piece is a study for the following works: -La Cène, or The Sacrament of the Last Supper (1955), oil on canvas, located at the National Gallery of Art, Washington D.C. -Le crâne de Zurbarán, or The Skull of Zurbarán (1956), oil on canvas, located at the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, Washington D.C. -Dalí Noche à Acapulco (1957), design for a nightclub in Acapulco -Corral de Gala à Cadaqués (circa 1955-56), a property that was acquired by Dalí as a refuge for his wife Gala, located in Cadaqués. Inaugurated in December 1957 by Dalí, this property was used for events and to receive guests.
